• No hubo muchas sorpresas, la favorita desde Cannes se ha llevado 5 Premios, aunque pierde en guión.
• Dujardin y Spencer no sorprenden, Plummer tampoco, pero rompe el récord de ser el actor más viejo en ganar un Oscar.
• Después de 29 años, Meryl Streep se gana un Oscar con un teatro ovacionandola de pie. Sin duda un reconocimiento a una gran trayectoria y a una gran interpretación que ha superado a una cinta no tan bien recibida.
• Curioso que The Descendants y Midnight in Paris triunfen en guion y sean los unicos premios que se lleven.
  
• Una premiación casi justa, de no ser porque Emmanuel Lubezki pierde por quinta ocasión, no es tan malo si recordamos a Deakins.
• Una buena ceremonia, Billy Crystal logra darle más dinamismo y entretenimiento, y más con una justa ganadora.
• Bien por Hugo, iguala en premios a The Artist... Scorsese sigue siendo mi favorito.
